NYSA Chem distributes and develop special FR compositions, which meet the requirements of fire safety standards for various industries and materials (thermosetting plastics, thermoplastics, wood industry, paints and laquers, textile industry etc.) Main cirteria of selection of flame retardants is acheiving maximized synergistic effect in flame retardancy, easiness of manufacturing and cost optimization of the solutions.
Compound is based on phosphorus and nitrogen (does not contain ammonium polyphosphate), which determine intumescent properties of the product. In case of fire KS 1420 forms a char, which prevents product from the flames - it gives product high effectiveness in flame retardancy. Active substance present in this product has good thermal stability up to 290 °C, low tendency to precipitate, water and light resistance and also low emission of smokes. Polypropylene modified with KS 1420 may achieve flammability class UL94 (0.8 mm) and meet the requirements of the standards UL746C, GWIT
900 °C, GWFI 960 ° C.
Appearance: White powder.
Product works similarly to FlameHunter KS 1420, however the difference is with the chemical structure, which gives to KS TC100 wider use in many economy fields. Polypropylene modified with KS TC100 may achieve flammability class UL 94 (1,6 mm), and its derivative modified with fiber glass achieve flammability class UL 94 V-0 (0,8mm).
Appearance: White powder.
APPLICATION - flammability reduction in:
Multicomponent flame retardant, in which main compounds are nitrogen, phosphorus and silica. Thanks to this unique composition this FR forms thermal (to 290 °C) and oxidation barrier for the polymer. Product increases char formation, homogeneity and structure. In case of fire it emits decomposition products, which mostly prevents from the fire spread.
Appearance: White powder.
APPLICATION - flammability reduction in:
Product has similar structure and properties to FlameHunter KS PP V100, but has smaller particle size. Due to this better dispersion in final products can be achieved, especially in polyoils when using this product.
Appearance: White powder.
APPLICATION - flammability reduction in:
Chemically modified silica based product with controlled glass transition temperature (500-530°C). Used as an additive improving consistency and mechanical properties of char in intumescent systems. It creates a protective layer that protects cracks in the formed char and produces compounds that help in the "char formation" process. Ensure thermal and oxidation barrier to undecomposed polymer and char. Appearance: White powder.
Product with properties and chemical structure similar to FlameHunter IS100. This product has smaller particle size, which guarantee better dispersion in the system but lower glass transition temperature (450-500 °C). Appearance: White powder.
APPLICATION - flammability reduction in:
